2000 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA GLX VR6
With a passion such as this, there
is no doubt in my mind that this is the work of a mastermind. In a roundabout
way, this 2000 Volkswagen Jetta is precisely…out of the ordinary. This VW has
unquestionably developed in recognition for the value and appreciation of its
elegance. Who could have possible done this?! - Rod Guanzon of course, the
brains behind this project.
His gorgeous and attractive car arrived in July of 2000. “I promised myself that
I would not do anything on my Jetta until 2 years…I guess I lied to myself.” In
fact, Rod was engaged on his brilliant plan in the midst of spring, 2001.
Despite the high-powered six cylinder VR6 performance, remarkable safety
features, and the magnificent luxurious features offered by the GLX – Rod could
no longer linger unmodified!
Rod has absolutely put all his effort into making the ideal car of his dreams.
Indeed, it has been preserved to look entirely spotless with much shine. If you
ever get the opportunity to catch a glimpse of this shimmering black Jetta
outside of the garage, where it spends most of its time – you will perceive
stylishness. For starters, let’s take a stab at your imagination! Imagine this –
a Oettinger body kit and Brock B4 wheels. Let’s take it further - GAIC
performance chip and outrageous suspension. Look deeper – Audi TT slotted
rotors! Of course, these are only a few of the unmentioned alterations. A
numerous amount of details have been incorporated to enhance the interior,
exterior, and the powerful six cylinder VR6.
Of the few, Rod is an individual who has been a member of REVTECH RACING since
the establishment. Certainly, all the great work put into his car does come with
a cost. Throughout Rod’s hard-working and long days in the drug business
(pharmaceutical, of course), he always manages to somehow save the additional
funds needed to further explore his hobby and passion for cars.
In spite of this, his unique and distinctive plans further develop. Future plans
for this astounding car approach a stylish technique. “First, I research and
visualize how I want my car to look. I want something simple, clean and
tastefully done.....just right and not over doing it.” Future upgrades embrace
the ever so powerful performance of nitrous oxide. Evidently, this car is one
which incorporates power and design. With the many other upgrades to come, we
can anxiously await the preparation of a turbo in this VR6 – “I need to do a lot
of influencing with the Financial Director....if you know what I mean.”
By and large, Rod has definitely enjoyed the development and progression in this
project. In spite of this, Rod would like to thank the following:

nephew Marc for giving me the opportunity to show my car as well as to Hugo for
the fine quality job he performed on my car. Hugo did my whole suspension
upgrade. Also, a special thanks to Ray, owner of Unique Auto Body, who painted
and installed my Oettinger full body kit and to Autowerkes for a fine quality
job on preventive maintenance.”
