DAVE N BUSTERS MEETING
2006 PA
With the dawning of the 2006 season at the helm, Revtech Racing conducted it’s annual team meeting at Dave and Busters of Philadelphia. Despite having vehicles under construction, members from all areas still managed to come through to reunite as a family. The day began with perfect weather of which Marcos, Ralphie and Marc took full advantage of as they gave the local streets a preview of what to expect from REVTECH RACING in 2006. The trio debuted the re-birth of the 2 wheel department of REVTECH RACING as they proceeded to push their crotch rockets to limits beyond measures from Jersey to “Philly”. With Jay-r of Logic Entertainment riding passenger of Erik’s daily driver Murano, up close and personal footage of the exhilarating ride was caught on camera.
In addition to the local spectators, Chris, Jimmy, T, Frankie, Paul (with his “wife”) and Jerry where other members who had front row seats to support the team’s entry into the 2006 season. Upon arrival at D&B’s, Maryland members and supporters, Jamar, Petie, Glen and Rashel proceeded to fill the dinner table and the REVTECH RACING family was finally complete. Showing love and support for the launch of a new era, “H22” Mark along with his girlfriend, Christine, were in attendance as well as former member Rich and long time supporter J.J..
With a night packed with fun and games, the team enjoyed several hours of unity and updates as well as future individual plans and team functions. The entertainment was never ending with Marc and the rest of the team making personal jokes at one another, in addition to Erik having his seat taken by a complete stranger as his food was being served. As the festivities progressed a common theme seemed to linger over the team, joking over our youngest member Jon not being able to make the meeting due to his age. However, the team did make promises to keep him involved with a rain date to Chucky Cheese’s. All jokes aside, as dedicated as a member that he is, Jon couldn’t make the trip down due to family obligations, but the team couldn’t pass on the opportunity to take their cheap shots.
The night continued at the arcade section of the facility in which Erik, Jay-r and a mutual friend/ member prospect Harold had heated competitions at several basketball shootouts. Chris and Ralphie spent most of their night at the gun range as they put on their finest display of simulated law enforcement. Moreover, with the racing spirit live and in the air, several members had “nose to tail” battles at the “Need for speed” arcade in which those members whose cars were out of commission had a chance to refine their driving skills. With Jamar and other members and supporters hanging out at the nearby bar, ever so often our very own photographer/member “T” was sighted taking behind the scenes shots to capture and remember the night REVTECH RACING walked into the 2006 season as a family.
Ultimately the night had to come to an end, but overall the family reunion displayed the loyalty and dedication each and every member has to the team. All in all, the day that began with 3 monster cycles tearing up the streets and ended with a ride off into the night with a clear vision of the near future that fueled the feeling burning deep inside that 2006 is going to be one to remember.
