PATIENCE IS VIRTUE 05.2005
They say patience is a virtue.  When it comes to Marc Enriquez and his Nissan 300ZXTT, it’s more of a way of life.  For over a year and a half “The Return of the Z” has been anxiously anticipated not only by Marc and his family, but by all members of the Revtech Racing family circle.

One has to know how much Marc has gone through in order to get his beloved “Z” back in action.  This new incarnation of the “Z” includes yet another engine swap due to the last engine having succumbed to the rigors of Marc’s own style of “spirited” driving to put it in gentle terms.  Nevertheless, we are ecstatic to announce that THE Z lives once again!!!!  So be prepared to once again find Mr. Enriquez and his Black Nissan reppin’ hard at the track getting back into form chasing those low time slips.

Marc would like to take this time to personally thank those people who were instrumental in the resurrection of Revtech Racing’s “Badass in Black” 300ZXTT.  First and foremost, Thanks go out to Marby Enriquez (Marc’s youngest brother) and Peter Mui who swapped in the J-Spec engine after work and school everyday until late into the night.  Being that this was their first attempt at swapping the infamously complicated “Z” engine while still attending Lincoln Tech was quite a feat.  Add to that challenge the fact that the engine itself was imported from Japan and posed its own set of problems as far as having it fit and operate properly on a US-spec vehicle.  Major props go out for all the long days and nights, frustration and loss of sleep.

Next up is Mitchell Wilson over at AMZ Performance for putting the finishing touches in order to get the engine running like new.  He took care of any and all vacuum line issues, welded and repaired the exhaust of leaks and working on the timing to get it back to normal.  With exceptional service and attention to detail, watch for AMZ Performance to grow exponentially in the near future.

In addition, Marc would also like to extend a big THANK YOU to all the forum members on www.twinturbo.net for help answering all his technical questions and providing information on where to get the hard to find parts that were needed to accomplish the engine swap project.

Last but not least, thank yous go out to Marc’s wife, Joanne Enriquez and daughter Alize Enriquez for the infinite patience and support during the entire process.  Without their love and support none of this would be worth it in the long run.

Look out for Mrs. Enriquez and her White Nissan 300ZXTT coming sooner than you know!  Stay Tuned and if you see those His and Hers “Z”’s in the rearview, clear the lane because this family doesn’t play when it comes to their cars.

THE ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE 03.2005
After months of nervous anticipation, it all finally came to fruition Saturday March 26th. See, it’s been a long time coming for one of Revtech Racing’s first members, Jamar Harris. After years of customizing and adding to his beloved BMW M3, the goal of custom turbo charging it has been achieved. With help from ICS Performance out of Connecticut, the M3 was trailered down to Englishtown’s Raceway park for some early shakedown sessions and to see what the Bimmer can do with it newfound power. The main concern by the crew at ICS and by those of us present was traction!!! With well over 500hp on tap, we were curious if the 19 inch Breytons wrapped by Nitto 555r’s would be able to hold the tarmac.  The first run was taken by George, ICS’s main guy on Jamar’s M3. And although there were, in fact traction issues, Revtech Racing’s turbocharged M3 beast clicked off a super impressive 11.5 at 124mph it’s very first time down the track much to the surprise of the crowd and event he announcer at the track!!! Congratulations Jamar, with some more fine tuning and traction problems resolved, you’ll be seeing 10’s in no time. Check the site in the near future for a full blown story and photo session on Jamar and his “new attitude” M3.

BURNOUT OF THE MONTH 02.2004
When a difficult task has been overcome, recognition is deserved and respect is received. With all the effort and exertion that was put into the Z this past season, there was no doubt that Marc Enriquez hadn’t received any respect. In fact, Marc has continued to grow admiration from many enthusiasts since the beginning of his days.

The respect for his accomplishments and endeavors continued to just skyrocket as each season passed and it was surely time for Marc to deserve his well-renown recognition. With Marc’s luck, he succeeded to grab the attention of the media for the second time in his line of work. Sadly – this time, they screwed it all up!

This month, a picture of Marc’s 1991 Nissan 300ZXTT was captured doing massive burnouts in the January issue of an exceptionally popular magazine Sport Compact Car Magazine. Despite the excitement, Marc was surprised to find a mix-up with his name. Apparently, the magazine portrayed the driver of the Z as the ever-so popular Waldemar "T" Arent, the actual photographer of this picture. To clear up any confusion, Marc Enriquez is the ‘real’ driver of this amazing & powerful automobile. In spite of this error, Mr. Arent was quite excited to see himself depicted as the driver and certainly, had no complaints.

Overall, Marc Enriquez is largely satisfied that this burnout picture, which was initially taken for RR’s DVD footage, gave REVTECH RACING even more coverage and exposure. With that said, RR is delighted to congratulate Marc for the recognition he has received and expects that he continues to climb his ladder of success. Keep up the good work!

NEW WORLD RECORD 12.2003
The difference between others and Bill Renkart is not a lack of strength or a lack of knowledge. Rather, it is the lack of strong will & determination that seperates Bill (BJ) from everyone else. Bill’s success should not be measured by what he has accomplished. Rather, it should be measured by the overwhelming competition he has defeated.

To everyone’s amazement, Bill has somehow managed to become the world record holder for the fastest stock twin turbo 93 Toyota Supra. At a quarter-mile time of 11.27 seconds and at 113.00 miles per hour, a lot of questions come to mind in speculating how exactly this was done. The first thought which comes to mind is that the car must be gutted. Well, surprisingly, Bill’s red-hot Supra is not gutted and still retains a full weight interior. Bill’s Supra currently measures at 463rwhp with absolutely no tuning. At present, the dyno record to beat is 492rwhp. A large majority of car-enthusiasts certainly believe that Bill will be able to beat this dyno record. With his everlasting support from his girlfriend, Dana, sponsors, other local Supra owners, and RR, there is no doubt in Bill’s mind that he will soon be able to achieve his victory.

While climbing the ladder of success, Bill was also able to win the Supra Shootout at Englishtown Raceway Park this year. Being the fastest in his class, Bill dialed in at 12.00. Amazingly, Bill ran a perfect 12.00! With all that has been done and all that is soon to come, Bill is currently on the hunt for a major sponsor. With his extraordinary racing skills and miraculous victories, he is, undeniably, a perfect opportunity.

Congratulations Bill, on a job well done, and good luck with the future of your award-winning Supra.
